About Us High Desert Equine Center is a 40 acre ranch located 30 miles northeast of Reno, Nevada. We are dedicated to the American Bashkir Curly Horse and wish to achieve the heights of equine breeding. We looked far and wide for stallions that we feel certain will help us accomplish this goal. Our first foal from WW Peter Lakota will be arriving this Spring with much anticipation. We look to improve the sport horse Curly with this line, especially considering the size and athleticism that WW Peter Lakota will bring. We also have the refinement of Storm Warning on the horizon. His unique color, along with his elegant beauty and graceful lines will enhance our herd and bring us to the epitome of a superior Curly breeding program.
